Thanks Nick.  We are working on a full blown comparison to be more widely distributed.  You do beautiful work.

Thank you Howard.  Weather has been highly variable these last few days....and I am seeing things on the way out, but very quiet at the stand.  Love those turkeys too....we are not quite in season here...but soon.

Thank you Scott.  Could not have done this without all of the help - lots of helpful hands around here.  Can't wait to get it marked up with your stencils!

Greetings Jim!  It is a motley crew indeed :-) and we sure are having a lot of fun.  I need to work on the finished jeep lids to....they are something!  Go Mat!!

I am not sure that painting is even allowed in the People's Republic of NJ - but don't tell anyone! In any event, I am using "green" paint so I think it is probably OK. On a serious note, these newfangled LED lights are something! Hope all is well!

I was not aware of steel on steel needing sealant - thank you Scott. I like the original style filters - simple and effective. As I mentioned to Ted, most gas stations are pumping pretty clean fuel these days....the filter isn't doing too much work. Of course, when I start using my 80 year old, uncleaned WW2 jerry cans....that is a different story! Cheers!

Good points, all. I had a heck of a time getting my first jeep to prime. I finally ended up filling the fuel filter with gas, then used air pressure at the gas tank while cranking to finally get it to feed. PITA! I don't know about those paper filters - I am still using the original style. I don't think these filters are so important these days because our gas supply is a lot more controlled than a bunch of jerry cans in WW2! Cheers!
