LOL!  What did Fletch say?  "Time for some recurrent there Hedges - it's all ball bearings and castration these days!"  Anti-recruiting?  How many jobs do you know of today that offer full medical procedures on site, real time, no co-pays, etc. etc.?  We are having to barricade the shop doors these days because we are getting overrun with job applicants - granted most of them don't speak English and keep asking for EBT cards.....but still....a highly desirable gig!😂

Hans is a good man - I have enjoyed getting to know him over the years at various shows.  He always makes me laugh.  We will revisit the supervision protocols...new checklist....something.  Human factors!

Good eyes Dave!  Definitely changed out to a column shift column.  We will replace it with a correct one and get that rare bird to someone who is restoring an early CJ.  As for our convoy, the guys were too busy giving me grief about the route home to take any pictures!😂  It got so bad that they mutinied.....and were so proud of themselves for beating me to the very late lunch destination by about 5 minutes.😂

Appreciate it Steve!  There are definitely some big bucks in this part of the world.  Historically, many local hunters shot just about anything and everything they saw.  I think we are slowly developing a new breed that is more discerning about what they shoot so we are starting to see some nicer, more mature deer.  I saw Ralph last year during the season several times - he had nice high tines, but was narrow.  He has grown quite a bit this year.  I am hoping he continues to hang out by the barn during the season - he will be safe....and we can see what he looks like with another year of growth.  With every passing day, it appears that the slat has found a new home😂

Ha!  We are going to pass a collection hat and get Mat a dryer!😂  

As always, thanks for your support Jay!  I promise Dennis found his hammer in Part II - 😂Mat is johnny on the spot when it comes to keeping us on our toes when working with those cables etc....I know a few tragic stories with loading/towing....can't be too safe...always a good cause for caution.As for Ralph, he showed up and settled behind the barn last year so I have been enjoying him for over a year.  We are blessed to share this part of the world with abundant wildlife - and love observing and learning from them.  I do enjoy stocking my freezer with venison during the season - not so much of a "trophy" hunter - although I really love seeing big bucks.  Most importantly, I try to be a good steward of the land in our care.P.S.  I saw Ralph on camera last year the day he lost one of his horns.  I searched for an hour or so...no joy.  Maybe this year!
