Thank you John.  You raise a good point about PPE with the blast cabinet....even if it is just an N95.  TY!

Thank you Pierre.  We are excited to learn more about the jeeps and figure out what is next for each of them.  The song is "Stockings Waltz" by Franz Gordon, Anna Dager, Hanna Ekström.I didn't search for the sheet music - but I am sure you can find it.  Both my kids play - fantastic skill to develop!

Appreciate it Steve!  There are definitely some big bucks in this part of the world.  Historically, many local hunters shot just about anything and everything they saw.  I think we are slowly developing a new breed that is more discerning about what they shoot so we are starting to see some nicer, more mature deer.  I saw Ralph last year during the season several times - he had nice high tines, but was narrow.  He has grown quite a bit this year.  I am hoping he continues to hang out by the barn during the season - he will be safe....and we can see what he looks like with another year of growth.  With every passing day, it appears that the slat has found a new home😂

As always, thanks for your support Jay!  I promise Dennis found his hammer in Part II - 😂Mat is johnny on the spot when it comes to keeping us on our toes when working with those cables etc....I know a few tragic stories with loading/towing....can't be too safe...always a good cause for caution. As for Ralph, he showed up and settled behind the barn last year so I have been enjoying him for over a year.  We are blessed to share this part of the world with abundant wildlife - and love observing and learning from them.  I do enjoy stocking my freezer with venison during the season - not so much of a "trophy" hunter - although I really love seeing big bucks.  Most importantly, I try to be a good steward of the land in our care.P.S.  I saw Ralph on camera last year the day he lost one of his horns.  I searched for an hour or so...no joy.  Maybe this year!

We had it easy!  That TUG is a beast!  We need to do a walk-around and share your beautifully restored and historically important vehicle with this community!

Pierre Huard Make it happen!  We would love to see you.

You have me laughing Jay!  It is really hard to be a recovering crack addict when all your friends are rolling in with 55 gallon drums of ammonia and baking soda! 😂  Even Mat....who started off as the voice of reason....Pat D got to him....The slat is a beauty....#123,518.  March 02, 1942....mostly complete and a very easy restoration project.  It does not have the correct engine, but most of the other difficult goodies are there.  The brakes are all locked up - we need to get them freed up and then we can figure out where in the cue it fits.Looking forward to see you in Oskhosh by Gosh!  Airplanes and OD....a perfect vacation destination!Look forward to chatting more about the octane/dwell/timing - I caught a rash of $#$$$ from the "gurus" for these comments.  You will see this episode - we played with a timing light...a nearly impossible tool to use on the WW2 jeep but it looks like it will prove the point. Thanks for the support and the laughs!

Sounds like a great trip Dave - would love to come see you and participate.  My bride and I are looking at the calendar - that weekend is open so we are going to do a little planning.  Will make a call shortly.

Thanks Carmen!  Blast cabinets are so fantastically useful for restoration work but it seems like you have to do a lot of experimenting to get everything just right.  Looking forward to seeing your Weasel on the road!  Are you bringing it to Gilbert?
