We will be sharing all of the information in this week's episode including measuring on a jeep.Ā  The TM 10 says .020 point gap and 47 degrees dwell...but this was later corrected to 42 degrees.Ā  This works out to a 47% duty cycle for the coil and it appears that the original writer of the TM just got a little confused between dwell and duty cycle....Ā

Appreciate the information Howard!Ā  I usually don't worry about it either - you really can't use a timing light on a Weasel or a Jeep for that matter so its really isn't important.Ā  That being said, I wanted to play with the timing light a little and see what I might learn.Ā  I have a couple of beat up Weasel flywheels - will be checking them this weekend to see what, if anything I learn.

Thank you JayšŸ™Ā Ā Ā  Makes my/our day when folks enjoy these videos.

I am with you on the excitement for the first drive...can't wait to see how the final drive/control system performs....hoping we get that finger tip steering!

Thanks again, Patrick

Many thanks for the kind words Robert - the feedback helps me figure out what it is folks want to see! šŸ™Ā

Thanks Rob!Ā  Definitely has been hotter than Hades the last few weeks.Ā  We were moving slowly...thankful that we got a little humidity relief yesterday....seems like we are going to be a little cooler these next few days.

Robert Cassin We didĀ  Mr Cassin!Ā  The ultrasonic could not remove the rust stains....maybe it would if we put some CLR or the like in there?Ā  Straight up - no joy!Ā  They do a wonderful job removing all the dirt, etc....but for the cosmetic end, we are asking too much!

Thank you for your comments and support Charles.Ā  It is all sincerely appreciated.Ā  Tyler is indeed doing a wonderful job raising awareness and ensuring that the younger generation learns enough history to appreciate what our WW2 veterans did for the world.Ā

You gotta get with the program Cassin!šŸ˜‚Ā  We have used it for a couple of jeep carbs and a couple of Weasel carbs.Ā  Works fantastically.Ā  One of those tools that I would not normally purchase, but once you have one, you will use it all of the time.

When are we starting on that halftrack?
