I definitely would not recommend doing a whole restoration in 10 days....makes the process more grueling than necessary and it is hard to keep your standards with time pressure. That being said, it has been a great time so far....maybe even transformative for my son. More soon....back to the salt mine ;-)
Yea baby....I am printing Oliver a t-shirt...."I Survived working with my Dad"!
Greetings Dave. I think he got excited and bought this other GPW. He doesn't have storage for two, I knew a buyer for the slat and one thing led to another. The jeep left with the transport company yesterday - I think Pat was feeling a little remorse.
Appreciate it Rob! My wife keeps on me to finish these projects! ;-)
Thanks to everyone who played! Congrats to Nick Hopper for winning the drawing! Cheers everyone!
Sorry about that Howard.....stayed put, although the pedal firmed up and then got a little squishy the next day but hasn't changed for 3 days....I think something has to be leaking somewhere....but I don't see where......a mystery!
Thanks Tom. Hoping to have both live in the next week plus lots of work on the T24....need to get it finished too!
Agreed Howard....I am working on it and about to finish the paint (camo) and install everything but the engine. My machine shop is really letting me down on this one, but there is more than enough to do to finish it anyway. Next episode, expect more T24! Hope you are well.
Throw that piece of German engineering on a trailer and let's get after it! Fearless and foolish - we will figure it out ;-)

Thanks Rob. You need to plan a trip over - bring the motorcycle and I will get you two together. Insta-friends!
