Steven Briola Sorry I missed this earlier Steve - was off to the MVPA Convention. Did you pack those bearings well when you installed them? Let's chat through this on a Friday Office Hours.

Robert Holloway Holder We can't get that non al-key-haul gas here in the People's Republic of NJ😳

Luke Jones That is a great tool to have and would do a perfect job Luke. I have had several opportunities to pick one up... a little tight in the shop. 😎

Andrew Lang Funny you should ask....it is cleaned and ready for reassembly....so yes!

Thank you sir! Intermittent fuel pump is a real head scratcher....hard to diagnose that one. The glass bowl is a great idea. We usually have one in the shop for that purpose..... switch them back out after things are working to keep the rivet counters at bay! 😀

No sir. The People's Republic of NJ doesn't allow the sale. There is a place up near Port Jervis...about 30 miles away....I should get gas there...but.....Maybe we need to purchase a WW2 CCKW gasoline tanker! That's the ticket!

This! I had a customer call up because he had just purchased a Sherman tank. Big $$$. He thought $400 for about 10 manuals (including a two volume 1000 page parts manual) was crazy. I had to ask him how much he paid for the tank. He was a good sport, laughed and bought all the manuals. More importantly for him...no second chances playing with a tank. These systems can hurt you or the machine.

Thanks John! Excellent description - we will be getting into this in part 2. Turns out that not venting causes all kinds of strange problems!

Always a delight to hear from you Jay. I enjoy your comments. Yes...on that getting things right. Many times, I stop and ask myself why I tolerate something that isn't right. There are usually "good" reasons, but man it feels better to be a guy who ditches the excuse and just gets her done! My ongoing shop cleanup.......is going to happen!  As for those fording systems...extremely cool...but a mess that I really don't generally want to subject my vehicle to.....I had a friend who took a beautifully refurbed deuce/5ton though a flood and as "fishing" fishes out of the cab along with about 50lbs of sediment. Cheers and thanks for supporting!

Ha! Keep motivating me Robert! Squeaky wheels! Thanks for watching!
