Happy New Year Scott (and to your family)!  To be honest, putting that video motivated me too - seeing how much gets done in almost imperceptible bits of progress.  I leave the shop about 50% of the time thinking "man, not nearly as much done as I hoped"....and yet....things do get done.I am going to call later this week - need to start thinking about Murph markings!

Cheers my friend!

Ha!  That one made me laugh!  Yes...the long awaited T84 rebuild video will be done in 2024.....😀Murph sure looks sharp with that loosely wrapped rope on the front bumper.  We almost had to use it yesterday during a shakedown cruise.....Happy New Year to you and your family!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Dave!  Here's to 2024!Mr Pullup was indeed very happy to see Murph in an almost finished state, although he is feeling a little guilty for bailing out on a good bit of the work 😂

The sorting process always amazes me....but is also incredibly critical to getting a reliable vehicle.  In the excitement of "getting finished", I sometimes forget that I still will encounter numerous problems before everything works right.  This also seems to happen regardless of how careful I am.   Kinda reminds me of NASA v SpaceX.....NASA tries to make everything perfect right off the bat and still ends up having challenges but they move so slowly.  SpaceX assumes and accepts multiple failures and tries to set themselves up in a way that the failures don't cause too much damage.  Move, test, fail, fix, repeat, succeed.  Not a perfect metaphor for a jeep restoration, but I think there are elements of that philosophy that apply.

Happy New Year!

Thanks Jay!  Yea.....that exhaust thing wasn't so good😂  It wasn't that long...but the jeep was smoking pretty good.....and my fan wasn't keeping up.  I wasn't in there very long before I got it out.  Appreciate all the support and the kind words.  Here's to a great 2024!

Thank you Dana!  Santa sent me a really special present this week!  🤩 Happy Holidays to you and your family my friend!
