Doesn't sound like luck Robert, but I totally understand the feeling. The lack of complete information makes it seem like a bit of a crap shoot. I have been able to chat with a bunch of folks with lots of expertise with these transmissions - lot of good perspectives. I will jinx myself, but I think there are a finite number of things to check....and once checked out, you can be pretty confident in your rebuild. I am filming tomorrow...so hopefully will have the video up soon.

Thank you for the support Adam. The T84 is a simple transmission, but the lack of published standards on several clearances means we are all test pilots when we rebuild them. I keep polling folks who have rebuilt lots of them...and get different answers....so....hopefully we can get this narrowed down and help everyone out.

Very nice. I have time in a stock Stearman, but the 450 always looked like a blast! Beech 18 is a beautiful airplane. Great project.

Great feedback Jeff. We can definitely do walk arounds of both the Weasel and jeep family and several other very interesting military vehicles that we have easy access to. Let me think about what we could cover in one video - we may end up breaking them into a "walk around" and buyers guide. There is definitely a lot of ground to cover. Love to hear that you get inspired to get to your shop/hangar. You piqued my curiosity...what lies in that hangar?

Thanks Tom. I don't know....that "guru" Eckard Tolle says we are supposed to get out of our own heads :-) I think I need to find a guru and start meditating. Should we do a five minute meditation in every episode of ShopTime?
