Hey Mat! Look forward to seeing you next week. Merry Christmas to the entire Wingle family!
I am pretty sure you would roll up your sleeves here Nona :-)!!! Next visit, we learn to weld!!
Thanks for the feedback Steve. Glad you are enjoying it!
Greetings Robert. You are absolutely correct. The only damaged sections of the joint between hat channel and floor were at the edges by the steps. These hat channels originally fit tight enough to the floor that there was not a lot of space for water to get between them....any place it did, the rust starts and increases the amount of space...more water...more rust etc. These old machines may have been built quickly, but it was a quality job.....
I sincerely appreciate your comment Robert. That sentiment sums up why I started doing videos in the first place. I too was totally intimidated by restoring my tub, but I have a friend who is a master at this stuff and he goaded me into starting. I made a ton of mistakes and got plenty of help along the way, but eventually started figuring it out. At the time, I wished there were better videos to show me what was going to happen along the way....so I decided to try and figure out how to make videos too. They are both long journeys....and so well worth it.... You are in for a treat when you start the process of conquering that tub....
I am jealous Nick! We are getting there....it has been below freezing a bunch, but not too much snow yet - soon! Thanks for playing my friend!
Thank you Nick! Hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving as well. Back at it!!

You are a good man. That though occurred to me as I was editing that video....a little short would be more exciting than anyone needs. I hope you are driving that Weasel!
That is the second person I have heard that from. I don't remember what I put in mine! Going to siphon it out and replace with 30 wt straight.... Appreciate it Robert!
Thanks Rob. We are getting teed up to attempt the restoration of a Scout Car water pump! Can you believe it? Hope the manual has good instructions! ;-)
