I revisited this video after purchasing my manganese parkarizing compound stuff. I didn't find any parkerizing solution for carbs specifically, so I'm going to just use this stuff that is typically used for guns. I'm assuming that's what you did. Two more questions if I may.
1.) When you say that you can polish the parkerizing off the machined surfaces, does that mean I can just use my wire brush wheel on my drill and knock it off or is there a specialized tool I need to polish?
2.) I'm worried that the parkerizing is going to jam up the interior orifices of the carb. Have you tested this particular carb stuff on your engines after the parkerizing to confirm that it's working okay?

Favorite part of the video was when you had it running, then it quit, and within thirty seconds of the hood coming down... back up it went! Such is the story with these old things, isn't it? LOL
