Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Patrick as well as to all you guys in ShopTime Land! Many blessings to be thankful for. Enjoyed the final drive work, that’s next on our agenda after our engine.

I am wondering about your thoughts on babbit bearings. My engine has them. Are the “potholes” in the surface typical? Are the bearings still useable assuming they’re within tolerance?

We're are literally cooking. It's sap season up here and we've been boiling syrup for the last couple weeks. As soon as we are done bottling, we'll send you a pint of the good stuff😀

My father-in-law (Charlie's grampa) passed away a couple weeks ago which also set us back some. We are trying to figure out a good way to incorporate some of the spent brass from his gravesite ceremony into the weasel. We were hoping to get more progress on the weasel before he passed but we figure he's still watching us!

The hull is going ok....we've pretty much filled all the holes in the back and are getting more comfortable with the MIG. We've got some radiator support hat channels coming in from Alexander in Norway. So we'll be starting on the floor soon.

The latest ShopTime videos are very timely and informative. Our engine block was "hot tanked" and we're waiting for the shop to hone the cylinders, and dress up the cam and crank, etc. Then we'll do the assembly just like you are doing.
