I have been dabbling with glass etching for a while.  Whenever I help someone get their jeep restored and on the road I present them with one of these.  This one is for my Jeep.  I have a silhouette vinyl cutter system and I make a mask that is self adhesive backed, stick it on a blank glass and I use the same acid that you used and viola! A bourbon glass to celebrate your getting your jeep on the road.  Salute!  

I was curious how you do your cadmium plating?  Is that going to be covered in a future video or am I gonna have to google it?

Did I hear T-84?  I think I did ;-)    I really don't mind the bees.  Two of my cousins in the area around Denton Texas do the bees and transport them to and from places as farmers or whomever need them.  The world needs more Bees.   

Fenders.  I have many fenders and am considering to disassemble a couple and spot weld the pieces back together.  Any comment or suggestion?

Great to see all the little things you folks do each week.  I too would like to learn how to weld cast iron.  I have an extremely hard to find lead furnace from a K-38 Splicers trailer that needs repaired.  I really do not want to learn on such a difficult to find part.  You probably already know this put there is a place called "Muggy Weld" in Portland Oregon that sells all kinds of specialty welding Rods.   They sell a set for welding Cast iron.  I have a GPW generator that had some wallowed out mounting holes repaired using these rods.  The welder was a long time Heavy equipment operator who had been repairing his machines for many years.  He was highly impressed with the rods.

I too have repaired a weasel throttle cable much like you describe.  We drilled out the wire from the turn buckle end and bought an acceptable part of the other end and put some new stainless cable through what appears to be an original throttle cable tube and crimped it all together. 

Your rear main is going to leak ;-) 

Also one of the locals put a stainless sleeve in his distributor tube for the very same reason.

WHAT!  I heard something about a T-84 Video?   ;-)  Wonderful video.  I have a spare final drive from Drive sprocket to drive sprocket that I really want to rebuild and this video will definitely help with that task. Carry on Good Sir.

BACK to the Ole T-24.  I am excited to see the process of putting the final drive back together.  Mine has something wrong with the brakes.  Was told its probably the detergent oil in the final drive instead of non detergent oil.  

Who ya kiddin', a jeep is never done.  Like the fuel gage on mine it's never worked.  Wired right, added a extra grounding wire to the tub.  I think now I'll try one of those plastic floats.  But I'll tell ya that wooden dowl always works. ;-)
