Great video as always. I would like to point out a source of future failure on Matt's Jeep. That set of points with the Copper power strip on the outside of the points spring will eventually fail where the bolt goes through it and will ground out against the inside of the distributor body. Ask me how I know. Here is my precious cargo waiting along side the road for the rescue crew. We now carry 1970's OEM points and condensors in repop original parts boxes in our spare parts bag. Keep up the good work.

When I was taught about the ground straps and the starting system, there were always three that were pointed out. The one you pointed out between generator and starter, the ground strap from the Engine head bolt at rear of engine to the tub and then the ground strap that went from the engine to the frame across the motor mount to complete the ground circuit. How does the the grounding strap from the generator to the starter pass the ground from the frame where the negative from the battery is attached on your jeep? Is this an early verses late thing or are you doing something special?
